More recently Tania started working in finance at a secondary school and has gained a larger insight into schools finance and our pupils future.
Helen Evans
Hello, my name is Helen Evans. I am mum to two children at Maynard's Green and am very proud and privileged to be a Governor at the school. I have been a teacher for many years and am passionate about the education of children and encouraging a love of learning to last a lifetime!
In my spare time I have led a local Brownie pack and supported the community through Guiding. I love to read; often found with my head in amazing children's novels or out in the countryside walking our labrador! I look forward to working with the staff, families, and Governors of the school.
Sarah Price
Hi, my name is Sarah and I am now in my third year as a governor at Maynards Green. I am a mum to 3 children and a director of a family run construction business.
For 13 years I taught science to children in a local secondary school and was head of the department for 3 years. I have a very good understanding of teaching and learning and am passionate about providing a broad and inspiring curriculum that is accessible to all children at Maynards Green.
When I spend time at Maynards Green, I have a great sense of pride in the children and their attitude towards learning and the wider aspects of the school community. I hope that in my role as governor I will be able to make a positive impact on the education of the future generations in my local community.
Hannah B
I'm a new Parent Governor here at Maynards Green School where my two daughters attend.
I work in Children’s Services and my background is primarily supporting children and their families at home, in education, and in the community. In the past I have worked in both mainstream and specialist schools.
I am passionate about inclusion and safeguarding. I hope to assist the school in achieving its vision, and ensuring each child can access and enjoy their education - enabling them to reach their potential whilst also having fun!
